how it started:
Last year as I was going through the regular daily schedule of eat, play, nap with the kids I decided I needed a change, a little creativity in my life. I have never been the creative one in my family, so for me this was going to be a challenge! My brother is an amazing artist, he is so talented at making all kinds of ceramics and is always thinking of new and exciting ways to make things better. My sister is a natural writer and her paintings and creativity leave such an impression. I had always seen how easily it came to them and how difficult it was for me, so I never truly explored my creative side.
It started with crochet. It seemed like a challenge. Something I could do while watching the kids play, or watching football with my husband. I picked it up quickly and pretty soon I was creating my own hat patterns. From there I started making headbands, tutus and photography props. What had started as a hobby was now the start of a small business. I set a website up for an online shop at the beginning of this year and am trying to get my name and products out there!
