hope [a perfect love]

my perfect love story:

I'm sure some of you saw this tab and thought, here goes.. another blog about how much this wife loves her almost perfect husband, or her too cute they could do no wrong kids... If you did, I am so happy to be able to tell you that the perfect love I am speaking of is exactly that, perfect! So no, as much as I love and adore my husband, our love for each other is far from perfect. And while I love my children dearly and most of the time have the attitude that they are so cute they can do no wrong, I have those moments where the emotion I am showing them is most definitely NOT love!

This perfect love I want to share with you is that of my God and Father. His is the only perfect love I have ever known and it is my mission to share that love with as many people as I can while I am here on this earth.

Can you guess what God's deepest desire is? As difficult as it is to believe, His deepest desire is to have a personal relationship with you and I. He created us out of a desire to have a relationship with us! How does it make you feel to know that the creator of the universe, the most high God is longing for you to accept his love? It can be overwhelming at first to realize that we are so important and special to God!

In order for God to make the relationship between us and Him possible he had to provide a sacrifice, a sacrifice that would bear the burden of all of our human nature and sinful behavior so that we could become pure and be made new. This is necessary to have a personal relationship with God because He is PERFECT, sinless, blameless! How could we talk with God, spend time with Him every day and grow in Him if we are still living in our flesh?  He is so perfect that sin cannot dwell, or be in the same place, or person, as God! Therefore he provided the ultimate sacrifice... His one and only son Jesus Christ.

If you didn't believe me before when I said Gods deepest desire is to have a personal relationship with you I hope you are starting to realize how deep His love is for you! He sent His perfect, sinless son Jesus to die for you. Jesus was perfect and therefore his death on the cross paid the price for your eternal life in heaven! In order for your and my sins to be forgotten, washed completely away leaving us NEW, Jesus had to carry the burden of all of our sins and die with them... [Perfect Love]

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Now that all of the work has been done and your sins are already paid for all that is left for you to do is BELIEVE and PRAY! Thank God for the sacrifice He made for YOUR life! Confess your sins! Ask for forgiveness! And rest in the faith that you are a new person and can move forward with your life with the guidance of your new Father and the manual [The Bible] he has provided for you!
